Will
Applets die ?
Do my application really need Applets ?
JSP, ASP, PHP technologies answer to most of
my dynamic-content problems. No more heavy applets
to download. No matter firewall/proxy restrictions.
Bye bye various Java support from browsers.
If I need a complex GUI then I will use FLASH.
Ok for JSP, however FLASH has limits, it's good
for amazing graphical effects and simple application
but it's not enough for real-world application.
Light applets (navigation systems, tickers ..)
might die but not applets ranked as Java Clients.
