In
short, you can make money by using jChatBox source
code package. Include (modified) jChatBox in your
own "chat" solution is allowed, but your
customers
have to know about non-commercial license. It means
that they need to
purchase an additional license-to-use for any commercial
site.

of jChatBox source code license |
GRANT
OF LICENSE. JavaZOOM grants to you a non-exclusive
right to use this software (jChatBox) source code
(hereinafter the "Software") in accordance
with the terms contained in this Agreement.
MODIFICATIONS TO SOURCE CODE. The understood
intent of the Software license is to provide basics
to learn, understand and develop some "chat"
solutions based on JavaServlets API 2.1 and JavaServerPages
API 1.0. Thus, Source Code modifications made
to the Software by the Licensee are allowed.
TRANSFERS/RENTAL. You may NOT transfer,
rent, lease or lend the Software to another person
or company without JavaZOOM's agreement.
SELL/DISTRIBUTE. Re-selling the Software
to customers as a part of a solution provided
by your company is allowed.
SUPPORT. Electronic support services ("Support")
are available or a period of thirty (30) days
from the date of original purchase of the Software.
More support may be purchased for the Software
by contacting sales@javazoom.net.
UPDATES. You are entitled to download revisions,
upgrades, or updates to the Software when and
as JavaZOOM publishes them via its website or
through other online services. Updates only apply
to releases 2.xx of jChatBox.
OWNERSHIP OF SOFTWARE. All title and intellectual
property rights in and to the SOFTWARE are owned
by JavaZOOM. The Software is owned by JavaZOOM
and is copyrighted and licensed, not sold. JavaZOOM
retains the copyright, title, intellectual property
rights, and ownership of the Software and the
written materials. JavaZOOM does not grant you
any rights in connection with any trademarks or
service marks.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES. THIS SOFTWARE
IS PROVIDED BY JAVAZOOM "AS IS". JAVAZOOM
DISCLAIMS ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED,
INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES
OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

IN CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR TORT (INCLUDING
